Hello I have recently purchased a Nokia 6555 which is locked to Fido. I am not too upset about it being locked to Fido but I am extremely upset that they have crippled the mp3 ringtone capabilities to force us to purchase ringtones from them at ridiculously outrageous prices.

1st I would like to know if getting this phone unlocked will also unlock this mp3 ringtone crippling?

2nd I have read on this forum that this phone cannot be unlocked via code because it is "BB5". I have also read in a different thread that there is a fairly expensive solution in the JAF-Flasher option. I had read on other sites that it is also possible using software running on a PC (Diego?) and an appropriate USB cable. Is this possible?

I have managed to find a copy of Diego V3.08 and I have a USB cable on the way. (I also currently connect the phone to my computer via bluetooth for transferring files etc...)

Any help would be much appreciated.
