Just to let you know. You need 2 credits for debranding not 1 as stated above. I could have saved some money if I had bought 3 credits together rather than 2 then an additional 1.

Oh well. You live and learn.

Unbranding SonyEricsson P910i

*) Fully charge your phone!

*) Start TOTAL Multiserver

*) Select Brand: "SONYERICSSON" and Model: "P910i/P910a/P910c"

*) Enter Username and Password in the lower left corner

*) Click on "Info"-Button next to Username/Password - this checks if you got the latest version, and will automatically download (but not start) a new client version.

*) Click on "Download Area", expand the "SonyEricsson P Series" / "P910i - P910a" section and download the appropriate files for your location and language. Assuming you live in central europe like me, this would be:

-) P910i_R4E001_EU-EMEA-APAC_Upgrade-Debrand_Firmware.AVR
-) P910i-R5B01_EU-EMEA-APAC_Symbian.SYM
-) P910i-EMEA-APAC_NL_FR_DE_EL_TR.LNG
-) P910i-EMEA-APAC_Rolf_File.RLF

*) Select "Flash Menu", select downloaded AVR-file

*) Power off phone, disconnect from sync station

*) Click "Program files to Phone Memory", put phone into sync station, wait until 100%

*) Remove phone from sync station. Do NOT start/boot the phone - remove the battery, wait 5 seconds, reconnect the battery. DO NOT start/boot the phone

*) Select "PDA Menu", select downloaded SYM file

*) Click Program Files to PDA Memory", put phone into sync station, wait until 100%

*) Remove phone from sync station. Do NOT start/boot the phone - remove the battery, wait 5 seconds, reconnect the battery. DO NOT start/boot the phone

*) Select downloaded LNG file

*) Click Program Files to PDA Memory", put phone into sync station, wait until 100%

*) Remove phone from sync station. Do NOT start/boot the phone - remove the battery, wait 5 seconds, reconnect the battery. DO NOT start/boot the phone

*) Select downloaded RLF file

*) Click Program Files to PDA Memory", put phone into sync station, wait until 100%

*) Remove phone from sync station. Do NOT start/boot the phone - remove the battery, wait 5 seconds, reconnect the battery. DO NOT start/boot the phone

*) Click "Free Bluetooth Module Upgrade", put phone into sync station, wait until 100%

*) Remove phone from sync station. Do NOT start/boot the phone - remove the battery, wait 5 seconds, reconnect the battery.

*) Now start the phone and enjoy the magic.

Hints:
*) Make sure that the checkbox next to SyncStation DSS-20/22/25 USB Cable is checked before pressing any flash button - in my client, after flashing once, the checkbox was unchecked again and i had to click on it every time

*) Technically, flashing SYM, LNG and RLF files at once should work (and only cost 1 credit, instead of 3 if you do just one after the other), but didnt work for me.

*) Bluetooth Upgrade is free, but you need at least 1 remaining credit on your account that it works.
