Ok here is my problem. Please note that my phone, which is a w600i is LOCKED to cingular wireless. It is a BROWN CID phone, not RED. When i turn it on, it directly goes to the WSOD and nothing happens.

Is the Multiserver cable + remote unlock able to fix this? I assume that the program being sent will have red firmware files, and that i cannot flash red firmware onto a brown firmware phone, is that correct? I know i need to flash this phone to fix it, but since it is locked and brown, my options are limited.

You are right, multiserver uses red files for w600.
You can flash using cruiser or setool to convert phone to red, then flash red files using the same tool or multiserver.

so which program can be used to convert brown to red? and i just bought a multiserver cable..
