After many requests I hope this post will be useful in order to understand what cables can be used with Total Multiserver software (TMS).
There is plenty of cables for Sony Ericsson phones DSC-11, DCU-11, DSS-20, DSS-25, DSS-25, aftermarket cables such as Cruiser data cables with external power and selfpowered Multiserver cable sets and many from chinese manufacturers. So the confusion users are experiencing is understandable.
All Sony Ericsson AVR/ARM based phones such as all T-seres, Z500, Z1010, K600, V800 etc can use:
T28 serial unlocking cable - can be used on PCs and notebooks with a serial RS232 port
DSS-20, DSS-22, DSS-25 syncstation can be used to unlock these models. Flashing with this cable might sometimes create a problem on older (pre K700) models.
All Sony Ericsson models with fastport such as W600, W900, Z520, K750 etc can use:
Original DCU-60 data cable - Can mostly be used for flashing operations such as debranding, language change, software repair
Total Multiserver USB cable - selfpowered USB data cable designed specially for TMS software. It can also be used with a number of service tools such as Cruiser, SEtool, Davinci, Wotan Server, etc
Cruiser K750 cable - Externally powered USB cable compatible with all Sony Ericsson unlocking and flashing software
The following cable sets can be used with both old and new SonyEricsson models.
2 in 1 TMS cable set
Cruiser 5 in 1 cable set - Compatible with a range of flashing/unlocking software and hardware. Also can be used for unlocking and flashing of Sharp, Siemens, LG
